A New Patient Physiotherapy Assessment will include a thorough history-taking to better understand the current complaint/injury and previous injuries that may be contributing to the current issue. The history-taking will also help the physiotherapist understand your lifestyle (Including work, activities, hobbies, and social setting) that can impact and influence the experience of your injury and your rehabilitation process. The assessment will then continue with observations of posture, and specific tests and measurements. The physiotherapist will use the objective findings, along with the patient's history, to clinically reason and provide a diagnosis of the injury.
