I am focused on the health and wellness of my clients. My goal is to aid people in the functional awareness of their bodies to help alleviate their stress and pain in a therapeutic way. My journey into the career of massage was through my own traumatic car accident where I developed several musculoskeletal dysfunctions from whiplash. Where traditional western medicine was unable to help me, massage became the greatest aid in my recovery. I want to give back to others the symptomatic relief I expierenced with massage and provide my clients with a full wellness experience focused on relaxation, release of tension, and postural awareness.
For those looking for more of a sports style approach, deep tissue massage utilizes greater pressure throughout the session to release tension and constriction in muscles. I believe in working superficial to deep within the muscular tissue and utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy, cross fiber friction, myofascial release and others to work therapeutically with the body.
