Danae, a 4th generation native to Point Loma, has been the owner and director of Peak Performance since 1992. Danae has a Bachelor's in sports medicine with 2 years of post graduate schooling in massage and holistic health. She has a Masters in Chinese medicine and acupuncture.Danae has a unique ability to blend Chinese medicine with western sports medicine. Although sports injuries are her main focus, she treats a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions. Her modalities are built around the whole body and individual needs which include electrical stimulation, massage, acupuncture, stretching, functional medicine, cupping and trigger point therapy as well as providing herbal and nutritional advice for many of her patients who have had a sports related injury.
