My practice of massage goes far back to my youth where I was frequently subjected to my family members' requests. In retrospect it was seemingly predetermined that I become a Massage Therapist although it was not until adulthood that my nurturing ways were put to professional gain when invited to assist with an RN friends new home care company. While in that field I acquired a CNA certificate as well as PCT, Phlebotomy and EKG tech Certificates. Soon after I attended Flint School of Therapeutic Massage where I received a Massage Therapy Certificate in 2009. From school I jumped into the Chiropractic arena and since diversified with ambulant work as well as the spa industry. My end goal is to care and assist a body to heal. I find clients most often remark on my intuitive massage manner as well as my practical shares to educate on the process of the massage and healing cause and effects. For reference, I use my forearms but am more inclined to hands and finger work. Lastly, It is my experience that best outcomes are found in the mutually shared responsibility between the therapist and the client. Kind Regards, LCMT - Jean
