I actually began my study of massage therapy on horses. I wanted to be a physical therapist for horses but there wasn't a program available. Seeking warmer climates, I moved to NC and began my study of Human massage therapy. My love of teaching around horses, extended to schools of massage therapy and my former position as Program Coordinator at Sandhills Community College. As a full time college Professor at Sandhills Community College which hosts a Diploma and Degree in Therapeutic Massage, I taught many clinical skills and modalities. My private practice supports the athletic and personal health endeavors of both equine athletes and wonderful human beings.
Using the New Approach to Manual Articular Issues developed by J.P.Barral, these osteopathic techniques balance the fascia, nerves, bones, blood, and structures of the joints for better performance and the alleviation of dysfunction.
