4611 Plettner Lane, Suite 110, Evergreen, CO, 80439

Beckys love for the healing arts was first kindled around her childhood kitchen table in Western New York, where her parents passionately shared their stories of working in healthcare. She grew up immersed in the importance of being of service and taking care of others. Becky earned a BA in Anthropology and Archaeology at Yale University, where she was also an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. After graduation, she moved to Colorado. She has raised her three children in Evergreen and Conifer. For many years, Becky worked as a teacher. In this role, she was deeply committed to building meaningful relationships with all students, to fostering a safe and nurturing learning space, and to cultivating curiosity and joy in the learning process. She was recognized as a warm, yet demanding instructor and a clear and thoughtful communicator, skills she is excited to bring into her massage practice. Becky had the amazing privilege of being able to be a full time parent for several years when her children were young. During those years, Becky also found meaningful work as a birth doula, a childbirth educator, and a yoga teacher. The past year has brought a heartfelt career change for Becky. She has left her teaching role, and is passionately pursuing training as a massage therapist at Denver Integrative Massage School. Therapeutic massage is the heart of Beckys practice. Becky comes to each massage with equal parts scientific inquiry and nurturing care. She is fascinated by decoding what is happening in a persons body to create an experience of pain or wellness. And she cares deeply about helping each person to feel better. She incorporates heat therapy, Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, Thai, and cupping techniques to create personalized massages that address each clients treatment goals. Across all of these techniques and tools, Becky brings a patient, thorough, and nurturing touch. Becky loves to teach and practice yoga. She enjoys cooking vegetarian meals, playing with her dogs, reading novels, gardening, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

Long strokes, kneading and friction techniques on the superficial muscle layers. Excellent for stress reduction.
