My name is Jessica and I've been practicing therapeutic massage for the last 6 years. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. During my time in college, I worked as a physical therapy aide and through that time I gained valuable experience in patient care, corrective exercise and various modalities like cupping and scraping. I received my massage therapy certification from National Holistic Institute where I studied both Eastern and Western techniques, as well as, advanced Neuromuscular techniques. I offer goal-oriented bodywork that is tailored to every individual and their specific needs. I blend myofascial release, deep tissue, cupping, Active Release Technique and a bit of Swedish to provide the best care possible. I believe regular bodywork can be a powerful tool in helping regulate one's nervous system, which is where true relaxation and relief begin. Being able to help people out of pain and improve their quality of life brings me great joy and satisfaction.
Each session will combine various techniques in order to provide an individualized experience. The session will begin with a brief discussion and assessment in order to determine specific goals and focus areas. The remaining time will consist of therapeutic massage work followed by a brief reassessment and home care instructions in order to maximize the benefits achieved during the session.
