With over 5,000 hours of professional training and nearly two decades of experience, Jean-Manuel brings a deep and comprehensive understanding of the human body to every session. Trained in both massage and osteopathy therapy, he studied at several esteemed institutions across Canada, including Kin-Concept in Montral (2004-2006), the Institut dEnseignement de lOstopathie du Qubec (IEOQ) in Montral (2007-2010), and the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Massachusetts (735 hours). In addition, Jean-Manuel has taught and supervised students in osteopathic techniques at IEOQ Montral and Drummondville, as well as provided treatments at the Beloeil Eden Institute and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Clinic. Jean-Manuel specializes in a smooth, integrative approach rooted in the classical principles of osteopathy - founded in the 1890s in the U.S. - emphasizing gentle stretching and full-body rotational movements to restore natural balance and mobility. His treatments draw from a variety of modalities, including: - Craniosacral Therapy - subtle, balancing techniques to release restrictions in the craniosacral system. - Visceral Manipulation - based on the work of Jean-Pierre Barral, to restore motion and vitality to the internal organs. - Complementary Massage Therapies - Swedish, Shiatsu, Thai massage, plantar reflexology, and chair massage for clients unable to lie on a table. - Adjunct Therapies - optional cupping along Shiatsu meridians and hot stone massage to enhance circulation and relaxation.
