I started my massage journey in September 2017 and graduated from The Northwest Academy of the Healing Arts October 7, 2018. I offer all my clients a personally developed massage treatment experience that includes massage, deep breathing and their favorite music. I do specialize in those that are living with Dementia. I have a personal journey with dementia as my dad developed dementia due to Parkinson's. He suffered with nightly leg tremors, sundowning and confusion. Massage has the benefit of assisting the person with dementia to relax, become more body aware, reduce anxiety and depression, loneliness and boredom and stimulate their circulation. I have developed my own Therapeutic Touch Massage + music program for those who live with dementia to help them along their journey. I believe that you should be involved in all aspects of your massage. You are a major part in the success of the massage and I am here to develop the right massage treatment for you.
After a brief consultation your massage session will be tailored to you as an individual. Whether this means de-stressing, working on aches and pains or focusing on recovery from an recent injury or surgery. All sessions will utilize a combination of Swedish and deep tissues massage techniques along with hot towels, hot stones or cupping as needed.
