Vandrer Bodywork & Massage Studio
3939 NE Hancock St., #101, Portland, OR, 97212
Massage isnt just a job for me its a calling rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a deep belief in the power of human touch. After 15 years of being the go-to person for massages among friends and family, I decided to make it official. I graduated from the Oregon School of Massage in 2022 with formal training in a variety of modalities. As a massage therapist, I pay attention to more than just muscles. I look for cues in your breathing, your tone, your micro-movements. I adjust my pressure, pace, and presence based on what your body is telling me. My work is guided by the understanding that socially appropriate compassionate touch has the power to reduce pain, moderate stress, and ease depression & anxiety. Put another way, the supportive therapeutic encounter of massage sends the body a message of safety, which can help reduce stress-related physiological and behavioral responses, while also improving mood and emotional well-being. The goal? A transformative therapeutic experience that quiets the mind, deeply relaxes the body, and opens the heart. When Im not in the studio, Im usually tinkering in my wood shop, playing a complicated board game, tending to my plants, or drafting my own sewing patterns. I believe in thoughtful touch, curious minds, and building things whether its a massage practice, a bookcase, or a life with a little more ease.
Pricing is ALL-INCLUSIVE. I do not accept gratuities. A more traditional offering but with my unique style and techniques I have developed over the years. Pressure levels available: Light - Medium (If you are looking for firm, deep work, you will want to consider an Ashiatsu session.)
