For 10+ years Duane worked along side Dave Salo and the USC swim team until 2020 as their elite sports massage therapist for PAC-12s, NCAAs and Nationals as well as Olympic Trials. He is also trained in many bodywork disciplines for most of which are geared towards injury treatment and recovery. After years of his chosen career path surrounding him with trauma Duane began to feel a shift, it felt like things weren't working, that this career path was less about healing than he wished for. In 2005 he signed up for a medical massage course that would forever change his trajectory. A trajectory more aligned with healing and recovery. Duane is a Mentor, a Coach, and a Bodyworker. Duane has been a healer for most of his life, going as far back as driving ambulances in California and as an Emergency Department Technician in Tacoma WA, His desire to heal and help others find their way is core to who he is. He has found that customizing techniques and treatments to each client is what is most effective and important. Duane has been in private practice in Tacoma since 2009.
