Alli completed her Associates in Massage Therapy from Anne Arundel Community College in 2022. She comes to Change Your Pace with a background in sports medicine, working as a licensed athletic trainer since 2016. In addition to her associates from AACC, Alli has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the George Washington University and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. She has worked as the head AT at a local high school for 7 years where she was responsible for the health and safety her student-athletes from prevention of injury through examination, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of injury and illness. She is passionate about incorporating massage and manual therapy to aid in recovery both physically and mentally. She loves helping people return to their favorite activity after injury. Alli specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, cupping, and IASTM. In her downtime, Alli enjoys traveling, reading a good book, snuggling with her pup, and trying new restaurants with her hubby!
Your therapist will work with you and your specific needs to get your body feeling it's best. This can include the following modalities: Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release Technique, Cupping, and Gua Sha. Please keep in mind when scheduling to make sure you hydrate before and after your massage session. Cupping and Gua Sha can leave temporary marks on your skin for up to 9 days, these are not bruises. Deep Tissue and Trigger point can leave you feeling sore for a few days post-massage
