Melodie is a passionate earth & heart centered healer. She draws inspirations from the land around her and lands she's traveled too. Melodie holds deep reverence for her teachers, plants and ancestral roots that continues to inspire her work. She has been practicing body work for 10 years encompassing a variety of modalities to help bring balance to the physical, mental and emotional body. The base of all her work is nourishment, and a place that is often returned to. Melodie holds deep regard for her teacher Sage Maurer at the Gaia School of Healing who she studied 2 years with in folk herbalism. She since has apprenticed on the land working directly with the plants, and learning from her teacher. She has studied postpartum body work from a midwife, Homprang in Chang Mai Thailand, and weaves abdominal massage into bodywork often. As the torso holds the many gems of the body Melodie sees this as a vital area to release for physical wellness. As a practicing doula, she supports women through menstrual cycle balancing, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum.
