Asymmetry Bodywork Therapies
3210 E. Ft. Lowell Rd, suite 110, Tucson, AZ, 85716
My interest in medical and orthopedic bodywork has a long story attached to it but began the year I graduated school (2006) and took my first continuing education class which was a thorough introduction to the world of Neuromuscular massage. I realized how incredible it could be to work with clients specifically to help them to facilitate change and feel better! My constant quest in evolving my education every year is because I want to continue to study the complexities of the human body, keep up with the latest research in and related to my field, and learn how to best achieve the results my clients are looking for. Don't get me wrong, a general therapeutic massage can be amazing as well, however I feel that my uniqueness as a therapist is that I can do very customized work with differing conditions including but not limited to: dysfunctional pain patterns, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, neck pain/whiplash, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, low back pain, limited range of motion, shoulder girdle & rotator cuff issues, pelvic imbalance, and arthritis.
This therapy addresses asymmetry, range of motion and soft tissue dysfunctions that create pain and movement limitations in the body. Certified in Myoskeletal Alignment, Orthopedic & Medical Massage, Jessica blends techniques such as myofascial release, stretching, and joint mobilization. Treatment is performed in loose fitting/athletic clothing so please bring or wear them to session.
