Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage technique that improves lymphatic system flow, redcues swelling, stimulates immune function, decreases pain, and soothes the nervous system. MLD is especially helpful post operatively to decrease swelling and after lymph node removal for cancer treatment.
