Diagnosis Codes are usually required to bill insurance. BCBS, PacificSource are direct-billable. Other insurance may require client seek reimbursement. Medical Massage includes initial evaluation, treatment plan, detailed chart notes, range of motion tests, and massage targeted to your areas of concern as diagnosed by a doctor. In coordination with your health care team, your treatment is tailored to meet your needs with a goal to reduce scarring, increase range of motion, decrease pain. Medical Massage can include neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, heat packs, ice massage, myofascial release or manipulation, structural bodywork, deep tissue, gentle stretching or other manual therapies demonstrated to improve mobility. Bills are submitted to your insurance company. Copay may be due at TOS.
