Close Comforts: Mobile (Vancouver, Burnaby)

For sessions in Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Burnaby. Gentle touch provided in the comfort of your own home or care home, to reduce physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering that often accompanies life-limiting conditions and life's later years. We will work where you are most comfortable, in your hospital bed, wheelchair, or a reclining chair. Treatment can be provided through comfortable clothing, so getting undressed is optional. Sessions include a check in (with you, and/or your substitute decision maker) to determine your needs and to ensure informed consent is maintained throughout our time together. I may suggest after-treatment care that you (or your caregivers) can do for your continued comfort. I am a Registered Massage Therapist, and can direct bill to several extended health plans. Please note, I can bring a portable reclining chair (very comfortable) if needed. A sliding scale rate is available for people on MSP premium assistance who don't have extended health benefits.
