Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart. Treatment offered by our CLMDT is for the prevention of Lymphedema in high risk clients, as well as for preventive maintenance for clients who have completed Lymphedema treatment under the care of a CLT (Certified Lymphedema Specialist.)
