Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy can be used for both acute and chronic pain conditions. The added modalities of cupping, acupuncture can be used within the scope of massage therapy to facilitate the treatment. Julie is qualified to use these modalities should the need arise. Upon your first visit, a confidential health history review will be completed and both the client and therapist will discuss the appropriate treatment plan needed. This includes setting realistic goals for treatment, discussing possible response to treatment and being informed of alternative care options if needed.
