Lymphatic Drainage is a therapeutic and clinical technique. Its goal is to encourage the flow of lymph, a fluid that helps remove waste and toxins from the body, and remove excess fluid (inflammation). Superficial lymph nodes are cleared of any blockages, and light rhythmic movement is utilized. This massage encourages detoxification, reduces fluid retention (swelling), and improves circulation & immune system function. It’s performed on the face, neck, arms, legs and abdomen.
