Acupuncture

We utilize Sports Acupuncture/needling for more muscular and pain issues, such as: neck and back pain, plantar fasciitis, tendinopathy, sciatica, and any extremity pain. This needling is a more recent therapeutic technique that focuses primarily on relieving muscular pain and dysfunction. It involves inserting thin needles directly into trigger points or knots within the muscles to release tension and alleviate pain. While both acupuncture and needling use thin needles, their underlying philosophies and treatment objectives differ. Acupuncture aims to balance the body's energy meridians, while sports acupuncture/needling targets muscular issues and pain relief through the release of tension in specific muscle groups. This appointment requires a $50 deposit, which will be applied toward the $150 cost of your Needling appointment. The deposit is only refundable if, after the consultation, Dr. Dalton determines we are not the right fit. It is non-refundable for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
