- Aaron holds a Masters in Kinesiology (UBC) and is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has a wealth of experience in elite sport including five seasons as a strength coach and manual therapist in the CFL with the BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, as well as coaching with other great organizations including the University of Washington, Simon Fraser University, Basketball BC, and Canada Basketball. Aaron also has experience as an educator, teaching anatomy, physiology, and exercise science as a sessional instructor at the University of British Columbia and Douglas College.
- What to expect in a session:.
- As a clinician, Aaron draws theoretical and practical tools from both Eastern and Western medicine to customize a treatment plan for his patients. Aaron's treatment style blends traditional massage to relax and regulate the nervous system, as well as deep tissue, instrument-assisted, and fascial techniques to mobilize and heal soft tissues. Leaning on his background in education and strength and conditioning, Aaron places an emphasis on exercise prescription and likes to educate patients on what they can do outside of treatment to optimize their health.

Acupuncture
Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments involves a combination use of Needling, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), and Acupressure to restore balance in the body. These treatments are particularly helpful for musculoskeletal conditions, pain, and stress reduction. - Lina is the newest (and only!) Acupuncturist at The Physio Shop. She joins us from Victoria, BC where she has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2023.
- Lina completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from McGill University in 2015, and from there went on to explore holistic healing and ancient wisdoms during a period of worldy travels. During this time, she studied at the renowned Sivananda Ashram and completed her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
- Her passion for yoga, movement, and spirituality prompted her to deepen her knowledge by studying at Pacific Rim College in Victoria. There, she completed her Diploma of Acupuncture in 2022 and became a Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists in 2023.
- Lina’s formal training in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Myofascial Release provides options for patients wanting to explore both aesthetic and functional concerns. Furthermore, she has experience in treating many conditions, ranging from emotional dysregulation, acute and chronic injuries, to sleep and digestive concerns. Additionally, she employs Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na Massage, and Diet Therapy to tailor treatments to meet your unique needs.

This initial session includes a movement and exercise assessment, goal setting, and a personalized rehab or performance plan tailored to your needs. Your kinesiologist will guide you through exercises focused on recovery, strength, mobility, and function. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement. - Cayden Orallo has been a Registered Kinesiologist since 2020 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC and experience in active rehabilitation, performance training, movement assessment, and return-to-sport coaching. He helps clients move beyond pain relief by restoring function, rebuilding strength, and improving performance for sport, work, and everyday life. Cayden has worked with athletes, active adults, ICBC clients, and individuals with complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries. His approach combines evidence-based kinesiology, strength and conditioning, movement quality, and practical coaching to support both recovery and long-term performance. He also has experience working within multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings and developing progressive exercise programs for complex cases. As a former BC Premier Baseball League athlete, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt competitor, and instructor at Lapel Arts Jiu-Jitsu Academy, Cayden understands the physical and psychological demands of training, injury, coaching, and recovery. His own recovery from ACL surgery has shaped his belief that effective rehabilitation must rebuild confidence, movement capacity, and performance—not just heal tissue. Cayden is passionate about helping clients become stronger, more resilient, and more capable for the long term.

- A former varsity volleyball player whose athletic journey took her from Nanaimo to Calgary to Abbotsford, shaping her understanding of high-performance training, resilience, and teamwork. This experience informs her practice today, where she emphasizes strength, mobility, and sustainable, long-term well-being.
- In addition to her clinical work, Sadie serves as the Operations Manager at The Physio Shop, where she supports both clients and practitioners in creating an accessible, community-focused environment.

- Raahat grew up in Mumbai India and has completed her Master’s in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from New York.
- She works with patients across all age groups and treats a wide range of conditions, including vestibular disorders. Raahat is committed to providing evidence-based, client-centered care tailored to each individual’s goals and lifestyle. Her approach focuses on relieving current symptoms while building long-term strategies for lasting recovery, strength, and independence.
- Outside the clinic, Raahat enjoys trying new recipes, staying active outdoors, reading, and solving puzzles. She recently relocated to British Columbia from Seattle and looks forward to exploring the local trails.

- Most kids from Thunder Bay, Ontario grow up playing hockey, throwing snowballs, and camping in any conditions; Trevor is no different. He’s spent numerous hours on the ice and in the outdoors hiking, snowboarding, skiing, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. With this type of active lifestyle from such a young age it is inevitable to find yourself in rehab settings. Trevor found interest in this process and went on to graduate with Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Lakehead U, has spent time in the doctorate of Chiropractic program at Northwestern HSU and obtained UBC’s Master of Physical Therapy degree. Trevor now consults with high level amateur and pro athletes ranging from Golfers, Olympic Lifters, Soccer Players, Sprinters, Baseball and Volleyball players to improve their movement efficiency. Strength and conditioning, performance and return to sport continue to be a major component of his practice, along with return to work and function for the general population. Trevor’s vision as the founder of The Physio Shop is to provide patients with the highest level of care and the best possible customer service experience. He and his colleagues pride themselves on their approachability and practicality of the services they provide.
- Trevor has prior experience as clinician and manager of a hand therapy clinic in New Westminster and has challenged the Hand Therapy Certification Exam. He is also an IMS/ Dry Needling certified practitioner.
