Utopia Massage

This therapetuic treatment originated almost 2,000 years ago using basalt stones made of volcanic rock; the most common rock type in the earths crust. Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

Feet are emersed in a lavender salt bath and then a scrub is applied to the soles and calves, followed with a rich and emollient foot cream with an emlphasis on foot reflex zones.
