About Massage
Massage is hands-on treatment of the body's soft tissues for comfort, mobility, and well-being. Providers can be licensed or unlicensed; the Massage discipline alone does not claim regulated status. The Licensed tag, shown as Registered for Canadian locations, is assigned from stored RMT/LMT credentials or qualifying wording in the treatment, discipline, or practitioner name. The provider-status toggle is available in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario, where it defaults to Licensed. Other regions include both statuses without showing the control.
Massage therapy can help with pain management, stress reduction, injury rehabilitation, improved circulation, and overall wellness. Many people seek massage therapy for conditions like back pain, muscle tension, headaches, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions.
In many regions, massage therapy treatments by licensed practitioners are covered by extended health insurance plans, making it an accessible option for maintaining your health and wellness.
