With over 20 years in healthcare, rehabilitation, and high-performance coaching, Dr. Spencer’s approach to recovery blends clinical insight with a grounded, real-world perspective. His philosophy is shaped by years of working with Olympians, professional athletes, and individuals navigating pain and injury, along with firsthand experience managing his own setbacks. This continues to guide his practice today, with a focus on reducing pain, restoring capacity, and rebuilding long-term confidence in movement. Dr. Spencer earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he was awarded the Gary Stavrou Award for Clinical Excellence. He later returned to Edmonton with his wife and two sons, trading surf for snow to be closer to family. Outside of Movenetics Physiotherapy, he spends his time raising an active family, coaching more often than playing, and managing his own well-earned collection of athletic injuries. At Movenetics, Dr. Spencer delivers care with honesty and longevity in mind. His recovery blueprint blends manual therapy, movement optimism, and guided education, delivered with intention and shaped by what matters most to you.
