Dominique Tersigni graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, and prior to this, obtained a Bachelors in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. During her time at Western University, Dominique’s passion for sports led her to volunteer as a strength and conditioning coach for varsity athletes. She further honed her skills by working on-field as an athletic trainer for a Triple A hockey team, gaining valuable experience in managing acute sport-related injuries. Dominique’s commitment to continuous growth in her profession is evident in her completion of acupuncture training from McMaster Contemporary Acupuncture, where she became proficient in neurofunctional acupuncture and dry needling. She is also currently pursuing Level 3 through the AIM (Advanced Integration of Musculoskeletal) program. Dominique is well versed in treating acute sport-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, TMJ disorders and chronic pain. She uses a combination of education, strength training, joint mobilizations, taping, and soft tissue techniques to treat a variety of orthopaedic conditions. Dominique is passionate about using a client-centered approach to develop personalized treatment plans, empowering her clients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journeys.
