Alyssa grew up in Pictou County, Nova Scotia. She graduated from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before moving on to Toronto to complete the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. She has taken additional coursework and is certified in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), RockTape Kinesiotaping, and Webster Technique for pregnant patients. Alyssa’s practice is evidence based. She keeps up with the latest research and creates individualized care plans with her patients to address their complaints and help them achieve their goals. While neck pain and back pain are very commonly treated by Chiropractors, they are musculo-skeletal experts and can help with muscle and joint pain anywhere in the body. Outside of practice you can find her hiking with her pup Piper, making a mess in her kitchen baking, or on a yoga mat working towards her teaching certification.
