I have always believed in the importance of maintaining a healthy balance with nature, which is one of the reasons Traditional Chinese Medicine has felt so meaningful to me throughout my life. My connection with Chinese medicine began at an early age. When I was about ten years old, I would give my mother cupping treatments after her long and tiring workdays. In a way, she was my very first patient. I learned these techniques from my grandparents, who practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. I feel very fortunate to have been introduced to TCM so early in life. Growing up with this knowledge taught me to see health from a broader perspective. Balance is essential in every part of life—including nutrition, work, rest, emotions, and relationships. From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, good health also depends on keeping the body’s Qi balanced and flowing smoothly. Acupuncture is one way to support this natural balance, reduce discomfort, and encourage the body’s own healing process. I find it deeply rewarding to see more people in the United States becoming interested in and benefiting from Traditional Chinese Medicine. My hope is to help more people understand that TCM is not only about treating symptoms. It is also about creating a healthier and more balanced way of living. Relieving pain may be the first step, and I would be honored to support you along the way.
