Inspine Therapy
Alvaro completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC, where he developed a strong understanding of human movement, exercise science, and injury rehabilitation. His studies shaped his appreciation for how individualized care can influence long-term recovery, inspiring him to begin his career as a Kinesiologist. After several years in that role, he transitioned into case management, supporting clients through complex recovery and return-to-work processes. Wanting to return to meaningful, hands-on patient care, Alvaro pursued Registered Massage Therapy and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. During his training, he worked with UBC and Douglas College varsity athletes, MS patients, geriatric patients, and families at Canuck Place and the David Lede House. These experiences strengthened his patient-centered approach and reinforced his belief in compassionate, collaborative care. Alvaro strives to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their recovery. Outside of work, he enjoys badminton, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. He is proficient in English and Spanish.
