My journey in bodywork began when I went back to school to become a Physical Therapy Assistant. I worked in Home Health Care Physical Therapy for 13 years and loved my work and my patients. However, I realized that many of patients not only benefitted from physical therapy, but would also benefit from massage therapy. I took a hiatus from my physical therapy career and returned to school to earn my licensure as a massage therapist. Since then, I have combined my knowledge of physical therapy and my skills as a massage therapist to help clients with musculoskeletal pain, anxiety, stress, depression and a variety of health related issues. I also enjoy working with clients that prefer a relaxing Swedish/spa style massage to decompress from their daily, often busy and stressful, lives.

Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart.
