Dr. Brian Wilkins is a board certified chiropractic physician, a certified running coach, and a certified Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) provider. He has advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of running related injuries and experience working with a wide array of athletes. As a marathon runner and cross-fit athlete he knows firsthand how frustrating it can be to be side-lined due to an injury and believes in an active recovery to injury care. He utilizes chiropractic manipulation, Active Release Techniques, Graston, and specifically targeted strength exercises to treat the root cause of an injury and empower patient’s to stay injury free. He employs a multi-faceted holistic approach to healing and treatment that is aimed at long-term sustained success. Dr. Wilkins is a Chicago native, a deep dish pizza lover and unfortunately, a die-hard Cubs fan. He moved to Portland to attend the University of Western States where he fell in love with the city and his lovely wife, Shannon. When he’s not treating patients you’ll find him running the streets of Sherwood or reading in whatever sunshine he can find.
