Hello! I’m Anne Marie Watson, a Colorado licensed and nationally certified Acupuncturist and Clinical Herbalist. It is my passion to help clients take control of their health and experience life to their fullest potential. My journey into medicine began unexpectedly during a challenging period when I was working in a chemistry lab, studying intensively, and neglecting my health. I developed symptoms of asthma and alopecia, suggesting a possible autoimmune disorder, although medical tests were inconclusive. This led me to explore holistic treatments, and proved to be a life-altering experience. I left my job in the lab and embraced a healthier lifestyle including hiking, yoga, and interning with an acupuncturist. The transformation was life changing! Within just six months, my hair grew back, and my stress, anxiety, and asthma significantly improved. Inspired by my own personal healing, I pursued an intensive Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine graduate program at Southwest Acupuncture College, where I completed over 3,000 hours of rigorous training in both didactic and clinical settings. After graduating, I started my practice in Lakewood where I treat a wide range of health issues, taking special interest in stress, anxiety, PTSD, gut health, pain, and sports injuries. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy Colorado’s natural beauty with my husband and two energetic daughters. We cherish our family time spent gardening, hiking, camping, embracing the adventure and beauty our state has to offer.
