Emily Banez completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in the Philippines and worked as an Instructor and Head Clinical Supervisor/Chief Physical Therapist at University of Baguio prior to coming to Canada. Since she obtained her Canadian PT license in 2008, she has worked in different settings and attended several continuing education to enhance her knowledge and skill and found particular interest in vestibular therapy and concussion management. Since 2011, she has been helping patients who struggles with vestibular and post-concussion symptoms. She is certified by American Institute of Balance in Vestibular Rehab and Level 2 Shift Concussion provider. Educating patients and understanding their needs are routine in her sessions to encourage her patients to actively participate in their recovery. In her spare time, she loves to watch movies, read novels, and play with her dog, Vodka. Emily still finds time to provide financial literacy to families.
