Samiksha Dalvi (Sami) Samiksha Dalvi — better known as Sami — has been practicing physiotherapy since 2018 and brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her patients. She is passionate about helping people of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, achieve pain-free living and optimal movement. Sami has extensive experience working with team of healthcare professionals in orthopedics, neurology, burns, cardiologist in India where she gained experience in musculoskeletal and post-surgical orthopedic (such as sprains strains, ligament surgery, fractures), neurological, burn and wound healing, cardiovascular rehabilitation. She believes true wellness goes beyond the physical body, taking a holistic and evidence-based approach that considers both mind and body as essential parts of the healing journey. She is rostered to practice acupuncture, including dry needling, and supports patients recovering from fractures, sprains, and surgery to accelerate healing and restore function. Sami also holds specialized training in: • Vestibular, Balance and dizziness rehabilitation • Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis • Lymphatic drainage and exercises for women undergoing or recovering from breast cancer treatment • Scar tissue mobilization and post-burn physiotherapy • Manual traction for acute and chronic pain • Shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis and tendinitis • Rostered Pelvic floor physiotherapy for women undergoing pelvic prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, pain with intercourse. • Cardiovascular health for people with COPD including breathing exercises (International certification in cardiopulmonary rehab) • Dry needling for relieving muscle knots with combination of manual therapy, stretches for muscle relaxation. (Internationally certified Dry needling therapist and rostered in Canada) Outside the clinic, Sami brings the same energy to her personal life. You might find her dominating the badminton court, spiking volleyballs, or enjoying a strategic round of the wonderfully quirky “carrot chess.” When it’s time to relax, she loves experimenting in the kitchen, creating delicious dishes, and hunting down the freshest ingredients for her next culinary creation.
