Jose completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at De La Salle – Health Sciences Institute in the Philippines in 2007. He has many years of experience working in hospital, clinical, community, and home health settings. After moving to Canada, he continued to build his clinical experience in private practice, occupational rehabilitation, home health, and community care. He has experience treating ICBC and work-related injuries, sports injuries, orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as geriatric and other musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical experience includes: • Motor vehicle injuries (ICBC) • Work-related injuries and Occupational Rehabilitation • Sports injuries • Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions • Neurological conditions • Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation • Functional rehabilitation **His approach to care involves assessing each individual as a whole and creating individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs, goals, and daily activities.** His specialty interests include **musculoskeletal rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions, motor vehicle injuries, and functional rehabilitation.**He also incorporates his knowledge of kinesiology and ergonomics into his treatment approach. When he isn’t working, Jose enjoys spending time with his family, trying different ethnic foods, and painting.
Your first Physiotherapy session includes a comprehensive assessment of your symptoms, movement, physical function, and individual treatment goals. Your Physiotherapist will discuss your concerns, assess your condition, and develop a personalized treatment plan based on your needs. The session may include an initial treatment, therapeutic exercises, education, and recommendations for your ongoing care.
