Jane graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and holds a BSc Honors in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow. Post graduation Jane has completed her training in: Functional Dry Needling (IMS), Kinesiotaping, Myofascial Release, and Injury Prevention in Runners, and attained her designation as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2023. Her work in a private practice setting has provided her with a broad range of experience, including working directly with Banff Sports Medicine orthopaedic surgeons at a weekly knee clinic. This involved postoperative testing, assisting safe return to sport and care following knee surgery. Jane also was part of a team of Physiotherapists assisting in the triage of shoulder patients, to help improve access to non-surgical and surgical care. Jane has been fortunate to have been involved in extensive specialized hand mentorship and is a certified hand therapist, which involves the rehabilitation of the upper extremity; from shoulder to hand. Growing up on a farm in the South West of Scotland, Jane was competitive in equestrian sports. More recently she is enjoying the opportunity to pursue her keen interest in skiing and mountain biking.
