Shiva completed the Master of Physiotherapy program with honors in 2011 and her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008 from Shiraz University of Medical Science. To further expand her knowledge she continued her education into PhD of Physiotherapy for 2 years, during which she received advanced manual therapy, and evidence based practice training. Shiva has experience in treating Musculoskeletal injuries. She has received advanced training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy, she is also a certified Gunn IMS practitioner. Her treatment approach involves manual therapy and individualized exercise prescription, she believes in combination therapy and tries to look beyond the injury with a holistic approach. Shiva has a keen interest in treating neck pain, lower back pain and shoulder injuries. Her main goal in the treatment journey is to improve patients’ functional abilities and to prevent future injuries. Enjoying an active lifestyle herself, and having the knowledge of Movement impairment patterns, allows Shiva to help clients return to their activities following injury, surgery or Motor Vehicle Accident.
