I practice Integrative Physical Therapy combining physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness through a combination of hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, postural, and functional training. My traditional training in orthopedics includes neck and back pain, sciatica, hip, knee and foot pain, shoulder and elbow pain, sacral and tailbone pain, post-surgical, and sports related injuries. I have been practicing physical therapy for 6 years, pelvic floor therapy for 4 years, and reiki for 10 years. I’m passionate about integrative techniques in my practice, when needed, including: mindfulness, acupressure, emotional freedom techniques, yin yoga, breath work, intuitive and energetic medicine, reiki energy healing, sound healing, chakra and crystal healing. I enjoy helping women find balance and flow in their bodies, regaining their personal power and enjoyment of life through regaining strength, confidence, and resolving pain and symptoms. I am trained in women’s health conditions including pregnancy and postpartum changes, incontinence and prolapse, bowel and bladder changes, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and menstrual hormonal changes. Your first physical therapy appointment will address current concerns as well as past information pertinent to the issue. We will discuss how the injury and/or pain is impacting your life - this could include eating, sleeping and digestion. After a physical exam we can look at alignment and devise a plan of treatment. Together we can achieve the goal of improving your daily activities.
