Genie is a Registered Massage Therapist with a unique foundation in healthcare. Before becoming an RMT, she worked as a pharmacist with a focus on supporting marginalized and underserved populations, including individuals experiencing low income, chronic pain, and addiction. Her years in that environment deepened her interest in finding holistic, non-pharmacological approaches to managing stress, mental health, and persistent pain, ultimately guiding her towards massage therapy. As a new graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) , where she maintained a 95% average and earned honour roll distinction, Genie brings a blend of clinical reasoning, evidence-based assessment, and a warm, grounded presence to her practice. She understands that people come from all walks of life and is committed to creating a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients can feel at ease in their bodies and work toward their treatment goals.
