My interest in becoming a chiropractor started at a young age, but I didn't know it at the time. In second or third grade, my teacher assigned an activity in which we were to imagine what job we wanted to have when we grew up. The standard list was offered, including astronaut, fireman, teacher, garbage collector and so on. I couldn’t decide on the right job for me, but I remember telling my parents that I liked science, working with my hands, figuring out how things work, and helping people. 17 years later, I decided to study to become a Chiropractor - the perfect application of all those interests! Another pivotal time in my life that lead me to this profession was when I was in middle school and developed an inexplicable illness. For almost a year, I saw many medical specialists and had every imaginable test and scan done to find an explanation for my headaches, brain fog, memory loss, sinus infections, chronic fatigue, insomnia, and joint/muscle pain. It wasn’t until my family started to explore Chiropractic care, Craniosacral Fascial Therapy, and alternative medicine that I started to feel relief and regain my strength and mental function. This experience was a major factor in deciding to study, and now practice, the techniques that I use today. My illness started in childhood. It likely even had roots in utero, birth, and infancy. This is why I am passionate about treating babies and young children - to address their small issues before they turn into big problems later in life. It’s never too late to start working on health challenges though! For clients of any age, I deeply believe that it is important to listen to the indiviual person and take the time to find the reason for each of their concerns. I graduated from Life University in Marietta, GA with my doctorate degree in Chiropractic and before that, attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY for my bachelors degree in Music Education. I enjoy playing musical instruments, spending time in nature and on water, and completing projects around the home in my free time.
This session combines CFT and ART soft tissue techniques with Chiropractic adjustments.
