Nora Lindman graduated from the 2200 hour Massage Therapy program at Mount Royal University in 2015. During her studies she was struck by the profundity of fluidic movement in the vessels within the body. She saw from her teachers how manipulations to the fluid systems reduced pain, restored function, and recovered health. She early on dedicated herself integrating Swedish and deep tissue massage with the practice of Chikly’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and deepened that work in the study of Chikly’s brain release. Nora also has a certification in Upledger’s Craniosacral Therapy, and studied Myofascial Release, Barral’s Visceral Manipulation, and D’Ambrogio’s Total Body Balancing. In 2017 Nora began to work with those in Calgary with spinal cord and brain injury/disease, working with a team to maintain or restore function. In 2021 Nora deepened her training in meditation and mindfulness to improve her sensitivity and focus level in the subtle touch of her work, and most recently studied Northern Thai Massage and Lanna Stretching in Thailand. Nora sees each person as having uniqueness, and aims to individually tailor her approach and treatment plan with that in mind. She is excited to be back to working with NUCCA clients again after previous experience at Britannia Bodywork and Wellness before 2020. She hopes that her work can improve the quality of life, bring relief, release, and a deeper awareness of the body to each person that she sees.
