Dr. Michelle Hughes has been practicing Traditional Chinese medicine for 26 years. Michelle graduated from the International College of TCM in Vancouver and furthered her schooling in China. Michelle has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, sport’s injuries and pain, training with some of North America’s foremost health experts in these fields. Michelle is honored to be a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine, an international group of practitioners who have advanced training in fertility and a Senior Member of the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association. Michelle is also a trained doula. Michelle most recently became certified as a Menopause Coach. Michelle believes in a complimentary approach to healthcare and is excited to help you achieve your wellness goals. Michelle has a gentle needle style.
Your Initial Visit includes a complete medical history, and lifestyle and diet evaluation. Acupuncture is included in the price of the first visit.. Cupping, moxabustion, diet and lifestyle advice as well as herbal formulas may also be recommended depending on the personal diagnosis. Please allow 60-75 minutes.
