Concept Physiotherapy
2801 27 St, Vernon, BC, V1T 4W3
Kate completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia before earning her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2025. Raised in Vernon, she is connected to the Okanagan community and is passionate about supporting people in a way that feels comfortable, collaborative, and grounded in their own goals. Kate prioritizes patient comfort above all else and is committed to truly meeting people where they are at physically, emotionally, and in their readiness for change. She values a thorough, whole‑body assessment and believes that meaningful progress happens when patients feel safe and heard. Her approach incorporates evidence‑based practice into every stage of care, using a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue release, education, and therapeutic exercise. Outside the clinic, Kate enjoys skiing, hiking, soccer, mountain biking, pickleball, and is an avid gym‑goer. Having experienced her own share of sport‑related injuries, she understands the desire to return to the activities that bring joy and meaning. Whether someone is managing a new injury, navigating persistent pain, or working toward performance goals, Kate is committed to creating a comfortable environment where patients feel supported and involved every step of the way.
If you are a new patient to the clinic, you will book an assessment with the physiotherapist. This will consist of clinical testing to help diagnose your problem. If you have been to the clinic before, and are returning with a new problem, or have been away from treatment for more than 6 months, you will also book an assessment session. Please contact the clinic to book an appointment if you require an assessment for an ICBC, WSBC, MSP, DVA, or RCMP-related claim.
