Alex is born and raised Rothesay native and he is incredibly excited about seeing clients in the valley! He brings with him valuable experience gained working both in the private and public sector. Alex graduated from Rothesay High School and went on to earn his BSc in biology/psychology from UNBSJ with first class honours. Alex successfully completed his masters in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University. His passion for Physiotherapy is evident through his interest in continuing learning opportunities and courses, always making sure he is up to date on the latest and best physio practices. Alex has focused his post graduate studies in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, running assessments, dry needling, concussions, ACL rehab, and back pain. He works part-time at the SJRH for the Inter-professional Spine Assessment and Education Clinic (ISAEC). Outside of work, Alex is an avid hiker/camper, hockey player and enjoys travelling.

*Physiotherapy Initial Assessment

Select this option if you are (1) NEW to our clinic or (2) your injury has returned but you have not been treated for this injury in our clinic for over 6months, or (3) you have been assessed for this injury by a Rehab1 Physiotherapist but wish to switch to another Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapy Assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and biomechanical evaluation with a Physiotherapist on our Rehab1 Team. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper physiotherapy treatment plan.
