Hi there! I’m Christina Baptista, RMT, and I’ve practiced as a Registered Massage Therapist in Victoria, British Columbia since 2003. Since beginning my massage therapy practice, I’ve developed valuable skills working with patients in various clinical settings, from busy multi-disciplinary clinics to private home practices. I currently work at the Station Wellness Collective in Langford, B.C., where I share treatment space with several patient-centered healthcare practitioners who offer acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage therapy, and clinical counseling. Along with clinical practice experience, I have more than five years’ teaching experience at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT), both as a teaching assistant and clinical supervisor. Additionally, I worked as a DONA-certified birth doula from 2008 to 2015, but left labour and delivery support to better meet my own family’s needs; however, I continue to enjoy providing pre- and post-natal care for my massage therapy patients. My current practice integrates a biopsychosocial approach to overall health and wellness while providing massage therapy care to a diverse range of patients. My primary goals of care are to listen to patients as they share their personal experiences, work together to develop effective treatment strategies, and support them in adopting meaningful self-care routines. Establishing trust and connection with each patient is essential to building a successful therapeutic relationship; this is of utmost importance to me. I hope to connect with you soon! Treatment hours: Monday 1:30pm-7:00pm Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am-2:30pm I acknowledge and honour the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Xwsepsum (Esquimalt), Lekwungen (Songhees), Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay), and the W̱SÁNEĆ Peoples represented by the Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Tsawout, Tseycum, and Malahat Nations. It is with respect, gratitude, and compassion that I live, work, and play on these Coast Salish traditional territories, and I humbly thank them for sharing this land.
