Hi, I’m Gina! I grew up in the West Kootenays in BC, where the mountains have always been a big part of my life. Working at Peak feels like the perfect fit. I completed my Masters in Physical Therapy at UBC, focusing in rural health. My approach to rehab is educational and exercise based, aiming to give you the tools you need to get back to doing what you love. I am certified in IMS/dry needling and have completed training in cupping and soft tissue release, and I may use these techniques in your treatment. I am a certified in pelvic floor rehabilitation and can treat those with incontinence/prolapse/pelvic pain as well as pelvic girdle pain and pregnancy. I’ve also taken a course in ACL/MPFL/meniscus rehab, focused on all stages of the recovery process. When I am not in the clinic, you can find me on the trails (usually with my pup). I’m an avid mountain biker, rock climber, paddler, and skier, and I’ve coached bouldering and downhill skiing - this lets me tailor sport-related exercises to your injury and understand proper technique. With this background, I am no stranger to injury. My experiences have guided me to a career in physiotherapy and let me understand how it feels to be a patient. I aim to use my knowledge to meet you where you are at and provide you with support through the rehab process. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping you on your journey!

For a complex condition, more than one new problem, or more than one problem that we have not seen you for in 3 or more months. Assessment with a physiotherapist.
