Mission Village Health

980 Frost road, 120, Kelowna, BC, V1W 0E4

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, May grew up with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) remedies seamlessly woven into her daily life. This early exposure fostered a deep appreciation for integrative care and inspired her to pursue formal training at the Calgary College of TCM and Acupuncture. She has been a dedicated practitioner in Kelowna since 2018 and brings her comprehensive, patient-centered expertise to Mission Village Health. As a TCM and Acupuncture practitioner, May takes a highly individualized approach to health. She blends strong clinical reasoning with intuitive insight to formulate treatments uniquely tailored to each patient. Valuing a collaborative approach to recovery, she works seamlessly alongside the clinic's chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists to provide truly integrated care. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, May works to identify underlying patterns within the body to address the root cause of dysfunction, supporting sustainable healing and long-term balance. She has extensive experience guiding patients through a wide range of concerns, including musculoskeletal and chronic pain, headaches and migraines, post-traumatic recovery, insomnia, anxiety and depression, digestive disorders, and women’s health issues, including fertility and menopausal support. Her practice is deeply grounded in the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the right support. Outside of the clinic, May loves spending quality time with her daughter. Guided by a love for music, community, and movement, you will often find her shooting pool, hiking local mountains, or out on the dancefloor.
