Ashley Jestin - Physiotherapist Areas of Expertise: Hip & knee osteoarthritis, tendon pain, shoulders, low back pain, scoliosis, and Pelvic Floor conditions. Ashley graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at the University of British Columbia. Before pursuing physiotherapy, she taught meditation and yoga classes, which continue to influence her practice. She offers trauma-informed care and strives to create a welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe space for folks from all walks of life. Ashley is passionate about evidence-informed practice, pain science, and a biopsychosocial approach to treatment. She loves to work alongside people as they rediscover the activities they love by leveraging the resilience and adaptability of the human body. Ashley collaborates with individuals to create a treatment plan that feels meaningful, manageable, and worthwhile for them. Ashley has a special interest in low back pain, scoliosis, shoulders, hip and knee osteoarthritis, and weightlifters. Outside the clinic, she is cycling, backpacking, strength training, sitting in the sauna, or drinking tea with her cat. 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly.
Ashley is currently only accepting new pelvic floor patients with female anatomy. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to our front desk staff. For new pelvic health clients, we suggest booking an initial appointment and then two 55 minute subsequent appointments every 1-2 weeks depending on what's feasible for you to ensure ongoing care without scheduling issues.
