Dr. Joshi has always had a passion for health and wellness and was interested in alternative care when he was in undergrad at York University where he completed his bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology with honours. Having a keen interest in anatomy and biomechanics of the human body led him to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. An initial assessment is used to assess and diagnose the problem(s) at hand, and to determine the best course of treatment. The doctor will carefully examine your medical history as well as provide a thorough physical examination to assess your specific needs. This physical exam may include, but is not limited to: Orthopaedic assessment Neurological assessment Range of motion assessment Postural assessment During this time, you may also wish to ask questions or discuss your concerns with the doctor. After determining a diagnosis and treatment plan, the chiropractor will usually begin treatment the same day.
