Molly Kellman (she/her) came to her massage practice through a career in social services and harm reduction substance use treatment. She graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science with training in a wide range of Eastern and Western and modalities. Her integrated treatments draw on her training in deep tissue massage, MaMassage (perinatal), Myofascial Release, Swedish, Thai Massage (Nuat Boran), Orthopedic massage, and Reflexology. She focuses her sessions on supporting a more adaptable and resilient nervous system, and nourishes the organs through meridian work. Molly’s treatments are informed by harm-reductive principles, and she works from a place of body neutrality. She strongly believes in the power language has within the somatic experience. Her work as an advocate and counselor has honed her ability to build trust with clients and work towards their goals together. Molly is passionate about the body’s transformational ability, and offers an integrated approach to managing pain, injury, and stress.
Massage
Meridian Massage is a unique blend of Eastern and Western massage therapy techniques in one integrated session. Meridian Massage incorporates manual lymph drainage, acupressure, reflexology, energy work, and western massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release in an integrated session to meet the client's needs. In addition to musculoskeletal concerns, respiratory issues, headaches, digestive concerns, and reproductive functioning can be addressed.
Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a type of gentle massage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, to reduce swelling and inflammation in the body. MLD is appropriate post surgically, for prenatal and postpartum care, and for general health and wellness. Longer sessions may focus on full body care while shorter sessions may be more targeted.
